📌 Position Overview
As the Head of Finance & Operations at EndoGene.Bio, you will ensure our operations run smoothly, being responsible for financial management, human resources, and daily processes. Your role involves collaborating across teams to maintain operational efficiency and quality, while also leading strategic initiatives to support the company’s growth. Your expertise in operations management will directly contribute to the success of our organisation, helping us deliver innovative diagnostic solutions to the market.
🎯 Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight
Oversee all aspects of the company’s finances, including accounting, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
Work closely with the finance team to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Identify and help draft applications for dilutive and non-dilutive sources of funding
Oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of supplies, ensuring timely and cost-effective operations.
Lead negotiations with vendors and suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing for goods and services and develop vendor management policies and procedures to assess performance and ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Human Resources Management
Recruit, retain, and develop top talent aligned with the company’s mission. Manage payroll
Implement HR strategies that support the company’s growth and operational goals.
Day-to-Day Operations Management
Ensure efficient and effective daily operations across all departments.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate to ensure project milestones and objectives are met on time and within budget.
Ensure optimal logistics and supply chain management across teams, including study logistics, product manufacturing workflows, etc.
Oversee that internal systems, policies, and guidelines are correctly defined, implemented, and adhered to, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with regulatory standards.
Regularly review and update internal processes to reflect best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory changes.
Supporting CEO in Fundraising and Strategic Initiatives
Assist the CEO in fundraising activities, including financial models, and presenting to potential investors.
Work closely with the CEO to align operational goals with the company’s vision and long-term objectives.
🎓 Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial/operational roles within a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Big 4 is a plus.
Ability to develop and implement comprehensive risk management policies and procedures, ensuring they are integrated into the company’s overall strategic planning and daily operations.
Proven track record in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organisation.
Must be proficient in English, Spanish and/or French.
